This looks like the last weekend for most ski areas in the East with the exception of one.
As Mont Sutton has just confirmed that Sunday will be their last day and Mont Comi confirmed that there will not reopen this weekend. The May possibilities for Jay and Sugarbush have been abandoned. Killington will regain it’s title, last one to close in the East (Last year Bretton Woods closed 4 days later on May 5th).
Weather forecast for the weekend isn’t great, but get out if you can.
NEW HAMPSHIRE – 1
Wildcat, NH: April 29
MAINE – 2
Sunday River, ME: April 29
Sugarloaf, ME: April 29
QUEBEC – 3
Ste-Anne: April 29 (open weekend only)
Sutton: April 29
Mont St-Sauveur: May 6 (closed this weekend, maybe next weekend if possible) – update
VERMONT – 4
Jay Peak, VT: April 28* – update – closed one day earlier
Stowe, VT: April 29
Sugarbush, VT: April 29* (open weekend only)
Killington, VT: May 6
*seems like May isn’t a possibility for them anymore.
