Another picture perfect day here at Sugarloaf as we get ready for our final weekend of the season. Conditions have been outstanding here today, with Wednesday’s eight inches of fluff turning into perfect corn thanks to some warm temps. Forecasts are looking pretty good for tomorrow, with temps expected in the 50s and partly sunny skies for most of the day, so come and get your final turns of the year and the one and only King of Spring.
We’ll have 23 trails open for you again tomorrow, and groomers will be out on six of those again tonight. Lift service is scheduled on the SuperQuad once again tomorrow, and lift tickets are just $39 for adults and young adults, and just $30 for juniors and seniors all week long.
Thanks to cold temps this week and a 2-3″ of natural snow, we’ll be offering up skiing and riding both Saturday and Sunday weather permitting (it’s supposed to pour Sunday). Lift tickets are just $25 for a two-day ticket and a BBQ will be bbq’ing at the Jet Triple with music and stoke.
Come say hello, then say goodbye. It’s been a great year.
Friday, May 2nd, 1:21 p.m.
It’s not quite over yet. There’s still at least one more day remaining in this EPIC season – possibly even two. We’ll spin the Super Bravo lift tomorrow and have 5 runs of top-to-bottom skiing and riding for you: Valley House Traverse, Stein’s Run, Spring Fling, Snowball, and Coffee Run. No hiking required!
The Bravo lift will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and like last weekend a BBQ at the Castlerock Pub will begin at 11:30 a.m. Lift tickets will be just $25 for all.
The call on Sunday will be made on Saturday so stay tuned and I’ll see you up here for one last hurrah!
THERE ARE A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS MARKS FOR SKIING SUNDAY FROM 3 OF THE 4 REMAINING AREAS. FORECAST FOR SUNDAY IS QUESTIONABLE. ODDS ARE THAT THIS IS THE LAST LIFT ASSISTED WEEKEND OF THE SEASON…SO GO IF YOU CAN.
