As I mentioned in my previous TR, there is a Winter Fail in Ottawa. It’s snowing here just enough to keep the tourist visiting the Capital of the Great White North happy, but it’s a far cry from what we call a normal winter.

AWESOME, City people taking advantage of a storm. I know a few people that would have liked to try it. 🙂
I have seen people cross-country ski to work in Ottawa snowstorms.
People skiing the steeps off Mont Royal in Montreal.
I wanted to ski off my roof of my kitchen in the big storm of March 2007, but I was worried with ski boots on that old roof so I decided against it. Another idea was to head to Parliament Hill and ski the steeps behind, but my wife didn’t think it was a good idea and mentioned that it was probably illegal. I remember seeing about it in SBC Skier at one time, but it was a no go.
My good friend Lucky Luke and his son did it at their house last month during a big dump in the Eastern Townships. Clip posted on Zoneski of him and later his son roof top skiing.
People taking advantage of a rare snow event in Paris.
So, why not take advantage of it, because you never know when your next opportunity is going to be. \:D/
