Thirty-Five years ago this weekend. One of the great Olympics triumphs on skis occurred in the 1976 Innsbruck Olympic featuring the national skiing and downhill icon, Franz Klammer. This event was like Canada’s Hockey Team winning goal at last year’s Vancouver games. The country was glued in on the game, well thirty-five years Austrian were glued onto their radios and TVs for this race.
