Mont Miller, Sugarbush, Saddleback and Killington stopped spinning their lifts last Sunday May 1st. It was also the end of midweek skiing unless you’re part of the ZLS ski team skiing mornings at MSS.
Leaving only Three areas committed about opening this weekend. After that, it’s Maybe…
Jay Peak will be closing down on Sunday May 8. Jay is running Jet.
Sugarloaf is still aiming for a final weekend May 14-15. Not sure if they can make it. The Loaf is running Super Bravo Quad. (edit: last is Monday May 9)
Mont St-Sauveur is aiming for a May22 closing (conditionally). Hill 70 West is probably the only run in Quebec where the skiing will be, as usual.
Details for weather and skiing (see links for latest):

There is some skiing skiing elsewhere in the East, but you’ll have to earn your turns. I drove to Chelsea yesterday and noticed from Highway 5 that Camp Fortune still had a serious amount of snow on Skyline. I heard that the skiing isn’t bad elsewhere too.
As a comparison to previous seasons, I started reposting my previous seasons Eastern Closing Threads. I’ve put up the 2009-2010 thread last night. More to follow in the next few days.
In closing…(sorry for the pun)…if you’re looking for Eastern Lift served turns in 2010-2011, this might be your last weekend…after that it wiil be all May(be) reopening for Loaf and MSS.
