In honour of the last two Eastern ski areas to close.
Competitors for the last Eastern ski area running lifts since 2008 or pretty much since that the two have separate ownership. Prior to that Mont St-Sauveur and Jay Peak were together part of MSSI. Jay Peak was the first acquisition from Mont St-Sauveur in 1978 in what would become MSSI.
This week’s Monday Attic Collection features a the French brochure from Winter 1983-84 with both ski areas showcased as part of Mont St-Sauveur empire on one brochure: Mont St-Sauveur and the Jay Peak which was acquired ago five years earlier.
One side of the brochure showcases the Mont-Sauveur information while the reverse side features the Jay Peak information. We are feature the MSS side this week.
