This week Monday Attic feature is El Colorado’s Plan de Pistas from 2007.
Set on the volcanic cone Colorado mountain, the ski resort has a vertical of 903 meters with 1000 skiable hectares which includes 70 trails served by 18 lifts (4 chairlifts).
The resort is just above Farellones and connect via road, t-bars or ski trail. Santiago is 39km down a twisted road. With its neighbours Valle Nevado and La Parva, El Colorado is among the closest and most accessible ski areas in South America.
This Plan de Pistas is a single double-sided 11″x17″ map. The first side contains the vital statistics and the main side: the West Face. Side two contains the Southwest and Southeast Faces and the skier’s rules, Snow Park and Ski School info.
