I’ve skied a few times on or around July 4 in the United States. Often turns to a carnival atmosphere, whether it’s in Mammoth California in 2006, 2010 or at Tuckerman Ravine last weekend (TR coming soon).
In the spirit of the great party atmosphere, I bring you four clips of 4 runs taken on July 4, 2006 on the White Thread of Silliest in the White Mountains on New Hampshire where Harkin Banks and PWDR8S from T4T make their July 4 turns.
Disclaimer: this is a serious place. Skiing in July in marginal conditions shouldn’t be taken lightly. A fall could have had serious consequences beyond embarrassment. Some people had been serious hurt or worst here. It is a very long hike out of there. Again, don’t try this at home, these guys are professionals, they have a great experience in what they do. They are also totally NUTS!!!
